START DATE: 12/16 MUST START ASAP (IN DEC) Must be flexible with holiday RTO. Manager will rotate coverage to ensure that everyone gets some time off if requested. Clinicians will generally be allowed either christamas eve OR christamas day and new years eve OR new years day. Must have solid experience as an RN - 1 or more years level 1 trauma experience PREFERRED or experience at a Very large medical center with a lot of surgeries/high acuity patients, must be comfortable with lines, chest tubes EPIC CHARTING experience is required. Unit Med/Surg 6S General MedSurg - # Beds: 32 - Nurse:Patient Ratios: typical ratio for all medsurg units is 1:5 up to 1:6 at times, ratio would be adjusted down for higher acuity patients - Required certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?): ACLS BLS - Common diagnoses/Types of patients current INFECTIOUS DISEASE, also takes medsurg overflow
